'Manassas Got Talent' is June 10

Project Infusion is proud to present "Manassas Got Talent," a youth and young adult showcase of singing, dancing, positive rap (no profanity), poetry and more being held on Friday, June 10 at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Metz Middle School, 9950 Wellington Road, Manassas.

Celebrity judges include City Councilwoman Sheryl Bass, who recently appeared on stage at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas Ballet Theatre's production of "Romeo & Juliet."

Project Infusion is a program of leadership, tutoring and afterschool programming at Metz. Project Infusion also is working now with at-risk youth in the Georgetown South community, with a program designed to show them "succeeding through achieving." We believe all young people have gifts and talents! A highlight of the evening will be recognition for youth who have demonstrated leadership roles in 2011. Open to the public. Donations at the door will help fund Project Infusion's summer activities, including team building exercises at Hemlock Overlook Park.
