Prince William County Library

All residents, or future residents, of Prince William County, who believe as I do, that one should always seek knowledge, should know the location of the nearest library. There are 10 libraries located in Prince William County, containing all of the knowledge you would ever want to seek. Do as I do on occasion, leave the computer behind and take a walk to the nearest Prince William County VA Library.

The Gainesville Neighborhood Library is located in James Long Park and has over twenty three thousand volumes to pull a little knowledge from. They say this library has gone green and provides power to a nearby ozone monitoring station.

The Bull Run Regional Library boasts of over two hundred thirty five thousand volumes. This library has all the latest features including a children's area featuring neon lights. The young adults area has futuristic lighting and comfortable chairs. The Bull Run first opened to the public in 1994.

The Chin Park Regional Library was the first one in Prince William County. This library is located in the Chin Regional Park and is not to be missed in your travels.

The other Libraries located in Prince William County include the Potomac Community Library, the Nokesville Library, The LakeRidge Neighborhood Library, the Independent Hill Neighborhood Library, the Dumfries Neighborhood Library, the Dale City Neighborhood Library and the Central Community Library.

Libraries are great for finding just what you need and checking it out. They are also great places to relax, browse and generally unwind. Libraries are also an important part of a child's education. Make sure your children get the chance to experience these Prince William County libraries, take them in and show them around, then turn them loose and let the magic of knowledge do it's thing. Make it a regular trip they can all look forward to.

The PWCS websites, especially the library ones, are completely inadequate. They sometimes work in Internet Explorer but they mostly do not work at all …
