WHEN: Two days – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19
WHY: Experience a free hands-on preview of the future Americans in Wartime Museum, a world-class facility to be built on a 70-acre site in Prince William County, Virginia, just 23 miles south of Washington, D.C. The Americans in Wartime Museum is dedicated to telling the remarkable stories of American men and women who served during wartime – in all branches of the military and on the home front, from World War I to the present.
Explore the Museum's extensive collection of fully operational military vehicles.
Watch live-action demonstrations of vehicles and by living history units.
See helicopters, living history units, artifacts and more on display.
Interview veterans who served in WWII and other conflicts.
Witness children interacting with veterans through a Scavenger Hunt activity.

DIRECTIONS: FROM INTERSTATE 66, take Exit 44 (Route 234) South. Drive approximately 5.5 miles to Route 28 South. Go 4.5 miles to Nokesville (a traffic light and small shopping area). Turn left at the light onto Route 652, Fitzwater Drive. Go one mile to stop sign. Turn right onto Route 646, Aden Road. Drive 4.2 miles to 13906 Aden Road. Red brick walls at entrance on the right. Proceed to marked parking area.
FROM INTERSTATE 95, take Exit 152. Take Route 234 (Dumfries Road) north toward Manassas. Go 7.1 miles to a traffic light. Turn left on to Bristow Road (Rt. 619 West). Go 0.3 miles and turn left onto Aden Road (Rt. 646). Go 5.7 miles to 13906 Aden Road. Red brick walls at entrance on the left. Proceed to marked parking area.
