Pet Owner License Information
Dog Registration:
All dogs four months of age or older must be licensed each year by January 31.
Dog licenses go on sale in November for the coming year and may be purchased by mail, at the Animal Shelter, or in Fairfax County downloaded from the County Web site at Dog License Application Form.
In PWC, try the Taxpayer Services Office. The fee is $5.00 per dog. A current rabies vaccination certificate must be shown for each dog to be licensed.
Cats Registration:
Cats four months of age or older must have a current rabies vaccination.
