Not good

I witnessed an encounter between two police officers at Sentera hospital 6/23/2012 and after that, I really don't think that much of this police dept. I thought their actions were improper and abuse of police powers. Upon calling the department I asked to speak with the morning supervisor and Sgt Lewis was very short and abrupt in saying that what his officers did was right and he had no problem with it.

He confirmed that you can call the police and make a report about your neighbor, friend, ex-friend or whomever that they have a warrant even though you know its false they will detain that person. I find that disturbing especially if the person making the accusation dislikes you.

What is more disappointing is the attitude Sgt Lewis projected toward me, it was clear that he had became defensive therefore he had stop listening to what I was saying and what my concerns were.

I think the supervisors set the tone for officers and from what I encounter from Sgt Lewis is not respectful or unbiased. I just wonder if that grandmother could have been white would that have occurred?
