Bit by a dog who was eating a dead animal?

I was at my cousins house when I picked up the dogs ball and then the dog jumped for it and scratched my finger and it bled a little, after that happened, my cousin said that the dog brought home an animal skull that day, and when I looked at the skull, it still had a little hair on it, do you think its possible I can get rabies from the dog bite? I'm really worried and my mom thinks i'm fine.
