Animal Control Should Be Open 24/7

I was atacked and bitten by a dog in our neighborhood sunday evening..I reported it to Prince William County Police because you were closed on Sundays..I was told by the police officer that someone from Animal Control would be contacting me today (monday).

I hadn't heard anything so I called to find out you are also closed on mondays.. so 2 days will have passed and I don't know if this dog is rabies free and up to date on his shots or not.

I have a doctors appt this afternoon. Not only do I have a dog bite but because the dog knocked me off my bike, I have a large hematoma on my left leg.

I would think Animal Control should be open 24/7, 7 days a week for emergencies.
